From Randy,
To All -
I just started the plane several years ago. I have the builder license and drawings. So far, I've completed the rudder and elevator, the typical starter kit from Zenith. Zenith supplies drawings that can be used to completely build the plane or you can purchase pre-fabricated pieces to assemble.
It is a great project and doesn't require riveting. Almost all connections are pop rivets. It certainly keeps the noise factor down, eliminates the issue with bucking rivets and easier for a single person to build.
I would like to donate to an EAA chapter that sponsors building, especially student building. In addition to the Zenith stuff, I have lots of Clecos and tools available to donate to a good home.
Please let me know if anyone is interested. It can be picked up at Toledo Express airport. I will need to accompany anyone picking up the stuff because of the airport restrictions.
Lonnie,
I'm not sure Randy is connected to the forum. You will have to email him direct I think to get your question answered. - Steve
