/EAA's Amateur Built Certification kit

If you weren't aware of this. . .If you are building an airplane follow the above link. The kit is $20 for non EAA members and $13 for members. It comes with every single document you need to fill out to complete the certification process, step by step instructions with completed examples of each document, every single placard and sticker you need. They could not make the process any easier. Even if you already are familiar with the process, it is worth it just for the materials they provide.
